For most of my life, I have taught public school, Bible studies, seminars, conferences or classes. What brings the teaching alive is the personal stories and examples used to enhance the principles and make them practical. And it is these stories which are missing from the teachings listed below. So please understand that it would take 30-90 minutes to ‘teach’ one of these subjects and encourage the listeners to participate.
I offer these teachings as tools to help you in your walk in prayer. You are welcome to copy them, just please do not publish them. Some of these are outlines that I use as notes when I speak. Others are articles I have written for magazines. They have all been taught to groups of people and not just written for a website. Please watch this section frequently because the teachings listed will change.

The Foundation of Intimacy in Prayer We know that it requires closeness to God to know His heart and express our deepest needs. What is a prayerfield? Each person, each believer has been assigned a prayerfield where he or she prays with faith and wisdom. This is a place of harvest and fruitbearing for each one. Where is your prayerfield? How do you find out? And does it change?

What is true intercession?
Many people think that Jesus prays for us everyday but as the great intercessor, He does more than that. Intercession is not about what you say in words, but what position you have before the heavenly Father. So do not fret about what you say, just get in place.

Different prayer giftings
Most believers say that are not intercessors, because they compare their prayer life to another respected intercessor they have seen or heard. But each one of us has different prayer giftings. This understanding will free you to pray the things God has placed on your heart and not feel compelled to adopt a style or subject of another.

The blood of Jesus and what it has done for me!
When you feel hopeless and defeated, read the scriptures about the blood of the lamb and try to grasp the work of Jesus who shed his blood for you. The power of God will arise in your prayers and your life.

Responsibilities of a church prayer leader
A strong church often needs a person who will keep prayer at the forefront working closely with the church staff and who will organize prayer meetings and events. Too often there is misunderstanding about the job of a good prayer leader. This list of responsibilities can be shared with a pastor and adjusted to fit your church setting
